North Carolina Handicapped Sportsmen, Inc. (NCHS)'s purpose is to promote friendship, fellowship, mutual understanding and cooperation among handicapped people and able-bodied associates by encouraging them to participate in outdoor recreation.
North Carolina Handicapped Sportsmen is currently working with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC), Triangle Chapter of SCI, Wake County Wildlife Club, and Paralyzed Veterans of America. We will continue to work with organizations and individuals around the state who believe in our goal. In addition, our organization will continue to reach out to children’s hospitals, medical, and rehabilitation facilities. We have 1 goal, “helping all handicapped people in the state have access to the great outdoors.
Please consider becoming a member of NCHS. Membership is open to all and is not limited to only handicapped sportsmen. The annual membership fee is $20.00. Learn more
